In an industrial set-up, store managers often face the challenge of inventory loss due to exposure of material (especially hygroscopic) to air/ oxygen
Managing inventory of such materials can be challenging as vacuum storage needs capital investment
Also inability to store such material in vacuum conditions means that companies cannot profit from lower prices
Vaculoc provides ultra-high vacuum storage containers to:
mitigate the risk of storage loss and reduce overall cost of production
ensure consistent product quality by maintaining inherent characteristics of inputs
save nearly 25% of storage and transport space
Vaculoc flexible vacuum containers rely on manual methods and do not need any machinery or electricity
What is ultra-high vacuum technology? Why use it?
Currently, vacuum storage technologies available in the market are primarily meant for large companies and require:
capital investment
periodic servicing and maintenance
semi-skilled labour
Other traditional methods like air-tight containers, plastic and metal boxes, liner bags etc. are ineffective
Vaculoc has developed ultra-high vacuum flexible storage containers that are cost-effective, reusable and more importantly do not need any machine, electricity or maintenance to create vacuum conditions.
How does the Vaculoc technology work?
Vaculoc’s technology uses four components - flexible container, cap, armlock and hand pump
Flexible containers are made of special patented polyethylene capable of withstanding pressure up to 0.00001 pascal
Once the container is capped and armlock is tightened, hand pump can be used to vacuum the container till it become hard like a brick
To reuse the container, simply remove the cap and armlock and dispense the contents
What is the return on investment (ROI) on Vaculoc containers?
ROI on Vaculoc container depends on:
Savings from reduction in storage losses
Profit earned by buying at lower prices and storing longer
Reusability of our flexible vacuum container increases the ROI as they could be used multiple times
Vaculoc flexible vacuum containers can last for nearly two years, provided they are used as per instructions and kept away from sharp edges.
In the event of any damage, users have the option to buy only the damaged component separately, instead of a whole new set which comprises (1) flexible container (2) cap (3) armlock (4) hand pump
What items can be stored?
All dry items can be stored in the Vaculoc flexible vacuum container except liquids, fine powders and items with sharp edges that could puncture the container.
All materials requiring vacuum storage of up to 0.00001 pascal
Hygroscopic substances
Pharmaceuticals
Metal granules
Electronic components
What items cannot be stored?
Currently, Vaculoc flexible vacuum containers are not designed for following items:
Liquids
Fine powders
Items with sharp edges
Anything below -20 degree Celsius
Anything above 50 degree Celsius
(Vacuum storage containers for liquids and fine powders would be launched soon. To register your interest, please write to vaculoc@sparkonix.com or Whatsapp your details on +91 9004096806)
