What is ultra-high vacuum technology? Why use it?
- Existing vacuum storage technologies available in the market:

- Vauloc has developed affordable and accessible ultra-high vacuum storage containers that could be used to modernize storage facilities without making capital investments in machinery and incurring running electricity costs
How does the Vaculoc technology work?
- Vaculoc’s technology uses four components - flexible container, cap, armlock and hand pump
- Flexible container is made of special patented polyethylene capable of withstanding pressure up to 0.00001 pascal
- Once the container is capped and armlock is tightened, hand pump can be used to vacuum the container till it become hard like a brick
- To reuse the container, simply remove the cap and armlock and dispense the contents

What items can be stored?
All dry items can be stored in the flexible vacuum container except liquids, fine powders and items with sharp edges that could puncture the container.
- All natural and synthetic food ingredients & additives
- Extracts, colours, flavours, binders, thickeners, sweeteners, stabilizers, preservatives etc.
- Seasonings and whole spices
- Dried fruits and vegetables
- Pulses, grains and cereals and semi-processed food
- Coffee beans and dry tea leaves
- Dry pet food ingredients
What items cannot be stored?
Currently, flexible vacuum storage containers are not designed for following items:
- Liquids
- Fine powders
- Items with sharp edges
- Anything below -20 degree Celsius
- Anything above 50 degree Celsius
