Currently all the ultra-high vacuum (UHV) storage technologies available in the market require capital investment in machines that few can afford. Vaculoc has developed affordable ultra-high vacuum technology that does not need any electrical machine and can be used by everyone, including last mile consumers.
Vaculoc’s ultra-high vacuum flexible storage containers work on the simple concept of creating vacuum through hand pump.
What do we do?
Products worth billions are lost every year in storage losses across multiple industries like food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, electronics and many more.
We believe that access to affordable and convenient ways of using ultra-vacuum technology can make an extraordinary difference for a wide spectrum of our customers including private corporations, governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), farmer producer organizations (FPOs), families and individuals.
What are the key components of the technology?
Vaculoc’s technology uses four components – flexible container, cap, armlock and hand pump.
Flexible containers are made of special patented polyethylene capable of withstanding pressure up to 0.00001 pascal.
The cap and the armlock are made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) for better strength and longer life. Â
Hand pump works on a simple technology to facilitate the suction process that would otherwise require electrical machines.
How does Vaculoc technology work?
Fill the flexible container upto 90% of its capacity
Put the cap on the container's mouth
Place the armlock on the cap and fix it between the clamps attached to the container
Attach the hand pump to vacuum the container till it become hard like a brick
To reuse the container, simply remove the cap and armlock and dispense the contents
